This ebonite mouthpiece is designed to be used with softer reeds but without sacrificing the sound quality of a stronger reed. It is very similar to the B45 but with a wider tip rail, this is the flat section of the mouthpiece, which is level with the very tip of the reed. This tip rail produces a more centered and compact sound.

The facing length is medium - long and the tip opening is medium.
