Designed to become the natural extension of your breath, the Bb and A Muse clarinets have been designed for musicians seeking instruments offering a very precise and direct response. They offer a great ease of playing, an immediate vibration, a clear, colourful, warm tone. Their comfort and the design of the keywork allow for a very quick adaptation to the instrument.

The Muse clarinet's intonation has also been optimised, well calibrated with precise intervals. It has a great homogeneity in all registers and switching from note to note.

The EVOLUTION system has been integrated to the Muse clarinet. This innovation based on a new generation resin interior lining, providing better stability and longevity to the instrument, while preserving the acoustic qualities of the traditional wooden clarinet.

• The Muse clarinets have a clear, colorful, warm tone. Musicians are also attracted by its ease of response, its accuracy and its great homogeneity (in the intervals and switching from note to note). The Muse also features various top-end spec including a raised C#/G# tone hole for better tuning, a mix of Gore-tex and leather pads with resonators for longevity and clarity of tone. The adjustable thumb rest makes the instrument very comfortable and the instrument is finished off with two barrels (64mm/65mm) and supplied with the new Selmer Echo mouthpiece.

The Selmer Muse clarinet is supplied in a hard case with an internal space for smaller accessories e.g. corkgrease. Also included is a Selmer Paris Echo mouthpiece, silver plated cap and ligature, cork grease, pull-through and a cork-backed Inspirational Notebook, developed in collaboration with clarinetist Kinan Azmeh.
