This Schreiber S16 (5016) bassoon is ideal for the advancing student looking for an full size instrument that can complete the grades and go beyond.

The Schreiber S16 has 25 Keys including the High D key and 4 rollers to allow swift and efficient movements to move easily between F and Ab as well as C# and Eb through virtuosic passages

Wear & Tear Observations: This bassoon is in very good condition for its age with no cracks or repairs to the wooden body.

The bassoon is in a playable condition but would benefit from a service to put it into optimal playing order. It is being sold as seen which is reflected in the price.

The silver plating is in good condition but is quite heavily tarnished which could be cleaned up during a future service.

This Schreiber S16 bassoon comes in its original lockable hard case with keys.  Also included are two bocals, a bird, playing spike and reed case. There is a set of used pullthroughs included but we would suggest purchasing some new ones.
