The Schilke soprano cornet is the "reference standard" for soprano cornets in the brass band tradition, due to its uniformity in intonation and sound colour.

This Soprano Cornet we bought new in the early 90s, making it approximately 35 years old, but with the same design and build quality as its modern counterparts.

Wear & Tear Observations: Although the instrument is an older example, this Schilke is in good condition. There is some minor scratching and small dings from general use. There is a small amount of plating loss on the underside of the leadpipe and bell-throat. All slides, valves and the tuning shank move well.

This Soprano Cornet is supplied in a Tom &Will Gig Bag, a Denis Wick Cup mute, a Wallace copper-bottom straight mute, and a Bach 17C mouthpiece.
