B footjoints can be extremely expensive, but the Pearl B footjoint combines precise engineering with reasonable cost. It has pointed key arms and a Gizmo key which helps to stabilise top C. It can be used on any flute, but may need to be fitted to make an exact fit. A handy item for anyone moving beyond the higher grades where the low B increasingly features in the flute repertoire.
