The Yamaha YHR567 is an intermediate French Horn popular with students and professional players within orchestras and symphonic wind bands. The ease at which the horn can be played makes it especially attractive to students.
Flexibility to change between F and Bb
String mechanism, which allows silent operation for quieter passages, plus fine adjustment and easier maintenance.
The leadpipe design improves the response and intonation by the use of the leadpipe being tapered.
By using nickel silver for the inner and outer slides a better fit is ensured and there is less chance of corrosion.
Using tapered valves ensures that they do not wear as quickly and therefore less air leakage.
A comfortable hand position and a smoother airflow is achieved by a well-designed wrap. Additionally an adjustable 4th rotor thumb lever allows adjust to fit any size hands.
Most importantly, the YHR567 French Horn has an excellent sound in all registers. Combining a secure high register, strong projection, quick attack of the Bb horn and the rich warm timbre of the F horn.
