Please be aware that our normal warranty/guarantee cover does not apply to this instrument as it has been pre-owned by a client and sold by us on their behalf. Whilst we do all we can to ensure that they are working to the best of their ability, such goods are purchased as seen. However if the item is purchased online, the procedure is covered by our distant selling rules which can be found on the delivery/returns page.
This Selmer Bundy Special (Keilworth "The New King" stencil) vintage Bb tenor saxophone is ideal for the advanced student or collector looking for sturdy instrument with a big vintage sound. This sax was made in Germany between 1961-63 and although it was sent away to the USA and stamped Selmer Bundy, it is not a student level instrument but more like a intermediate/ professional model.
This sax is in good condition for its age and has recently benefitted from service work where the instrument was stripped down and 8 pads replaced for new.
- Lacquer body
- Keilworth Stencil 1961 -63
- Rolled toneholes
Wear & Tear Observations: Considering the instruments age it is in good condition with the usual signs of scratching/ lacquer wear in particular to the bell and to some of the nickel plated keys.
Service Notes: A pre delivery service/check will be undertaken prior to shipping. At busy periods this may entail a small delay. If this order is urgent please contact us as we are usually able to expedite.
This sax comes in a fully functioning hard shaped case with handle and shoulder strap.
There is no mouthpiece set or cleaners included so I would recommend trialling a selection of mouthpieces to see which suits you're playing and the sax the best and the purchase of the Helin tenor sax pullthrough.
