About the maker
The brand Rudall-Carte was an off-shoot of the well-established musical instrument manufacturer Boosey & Hawkes. The name Rudall-Carte was the name they put on some imported instruments. The Rudall-Carte bassoons themselves were actually made by Amati in Czechoslovakia, a company still in production.
