Secondhand JP181 Oboe

This JP181 dual system oboe is ideal for the advancing student looking for an instrument that can complete the grades. It was bought from us in 2012 and is in good condition for its age.

It is a lovely versatile upgrade instrument that, thanks to the resin body, won't crack or be affected by temperature/ humidity changes. The dual system keywork gives a lot of options to the player to negotiate trickier passages in music.

Wear & Tear Observations: This oboe is in good condition with no signs of wear to the silver plating. Some of the painted JP logo has faded where the oboe has been assembled but this is purely cosmetic and doesn't affect the oboes playability. This oboe has recently been worked on by our workshop and is ready to go.

This JP181 comes in its original hard case with case cover and shoulder strap, all of which are in good condition bar one zip that has lost its tag on the outer pocket. Also included is a reed case and cork grease. I would recommend purchasing a Kolbl oboe pullthrough alongside this oboe.
