Suitable for

The Chenonceau II features a .459-inch bore with a dual Shepherd's Crook design plus a 4.75-inch bell for a very warm tone with excellent response. The Chenonceau II also features 1st and 3rd valve slide triggers.  Ideal for Brass Band playing as its lovely, melow tones blend seamlessly.

Wear & Tear Observations: This Cornet was serviced in February 2020 at the Eclipse workshop owned by Leigh Mckinney. The bright silverplate is in a very good condition with minimal scarthing and marking. There is a small mark on the bell flare. The Cornet has been modififed and has had the 1st and 3rd valve slide triggers added. There is marking on the two slides where the previous thumb hook and finger ring have been removed as well as solder marks around the area where the triggers have been added. There is also a small chip in the pearl on the third valve.

This Soprano Cornet comes in a Courtois, hard, red and black plastic case with fully functioning clasps and handle. There are a few scuffs on the surface of the case. The interior of the case is black and has one compartrment at the front and a slot for one Mouthpiece.
