Excellent!

Fabulous instrument to practice and get back into playing brass, bought originally instead of a trumpet as we had difficulty with some of the alleged best brands. Not disappointed with this Cornet, a fabulous instrument that is surely comparable to more expensive models. Solid stainless steel valves instead of sticky temperamental Monel and a beautiful tone with the standard mouthpiece. Never thought I would enjoy an instrument so much being a trumpet snob! Only discovered the beautiful tone of the Flugelhorn on listen to Jan Van Duikeren - Strasbourg - St. Denis, so one was purchased. Funny enough we ended up with three brass instruments all being John Packer, all three considered excellent and a delight to play. These instruments found us after searching for so long with other brands that failed. Just look after them and they will look after you!

JP 071

The JP 071 is an Excellent student and accomplished player's instrument with equally excellent intonation throughout the range it is well finished off and has thoughtfully mastered ergonomics. Equal to instruments in a much higher price range.
