'I recently purchased an Alto Trombone from yourselves and just wanted to tell you I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. It's a cracking little instrument and I've already recommended it to numerous colleagues and fellow musicians who have tried it out and are similarly impressed.'

'I have recently had an opportunity to assess the capabilities of a new trombone from John Packer Ltd - the JP131. It is well designed for students with a good left hand position from bottom bar/thumb which is ideally suited to a smaller player. The build quality is just as good as you would expect from a £2K professional model. Nicely made water key too. It has a great super C for the Brass Banders! (should you ever need one). In fact the tuning is excellent throughout the working range including pedal down to E. The whole instrument feels like a much more expensive instrument than a price tag of £200 would suggest. The slide is very good. It has a well-centred round warm sound. The top Bb, once again, works better than many professional models.'

'The build on the Bb is exceptional and yet the Bb/F is even better. It feels as you would expect a professional model to feel. The sound is a little more centred than the Bb. The valve has a free, quick and precise action and all the notes work well. The F side notes are great all the way down to bottom D's and the pedals below.'
