The JP242 Blues doesn't give players the Blues.

I had been playing the tenor sax for about 2 years when I decided to buy myself a new saxophone, as the one I was playing was described by professionals as "the tank" and thus was relatively hard to play. I had heard about the John Packer range as they had sponsored an amazing workshop with Pete Long nearby.So I decided to check them out. So when I arrived I asked to try some of the basic cheaper models of saxophones. I first tried to play a base model Yamaha but I just didn't get along with it. So next I tried the JP242 (Blues) and I instantly fell in love with it. The tone it produced was outstanding, and it was also effortless. The lowest notes were easy to play at any volume as were the top F's and F sharps. I got out my tuner and the tuning was impeccable.That was it, decision made. I bought it through the assisted purchasing scheme and have been playing it ever since. Everyone of my friends who I have allowed to play my tenor have said its awesome and have loved it. I can honestly see myself using this saxophone for the rest of my part time career. In conclusion, this model is a fantastic buy that will perform well no matter what style you play, and at the price its being sold, its a no brainer!!!
