Tenor Horn
The tuba family includes the serpents and ophicleide among its ancestors. This family predominantly features in brass bands, although the tuba is also a regular member of the orchestra. The tuba has several variants of which Eb; EEb; Bb; BBb; C and F are the most common. Student models have three valves and items of higher specification have four. Some tuba's (mini) have the tubing more tightly wrapped and a lower leadpipe angle for use by smaller players.
