My first "new" baritone, this instrument has better tonal quality than models ten times the price that I have played. I like the valves, very light and fast operation. Other bari players quite jealous of the playing qualities of this instrument! Also like the third valve water key, great innovation. Dislikes? None really; it has no lyre mount, but then I never use one! Dislike the instrument case though - it is very well made and shaped, but does not have space to allow tuning slides to be left "out", they must be pushed fully in to fit "in" the case.
