Legere Reeds are made of a unique synthetic material, which has properties very similar to conditioned cane. It produces a warm, woody sound, although it may respond differently than a conventional cane reed. Instructions for care of the reed are provided with each one, and under normal playing conditions should help to provide many hours of playing pleasure.
